everything you need to know about
This is NOT an everyday thing, and so it is completely normal to have questions. I am not shy - and nothing is off limits. I am going to share some commonly asked questions below. As always, feel free to reach out at any time for more personal questions you have about your session.
What if I am awkward AF?
Wooooooo friend, I feel you!! Good news is that posing is 100% my job. I will place everything from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. I will tell you where to look and tell dorky jokes to get a really big smile!
This is one of the reasons I LOVE that the first hour you are with me, it is hair and makeup time. It gives you a chance to relax instead of walking in the door and immediately dropping your drawers. Being nervous is totally normal, but you are going to feel damn good by the end of it! P.S. I am super awkward too.
Are my images private?
Yes! No image will ever be shared without your permission. The photos you see on my website and social media are from clients who decided to sign a model release. You can do that too! But, you will never be pressured to share your images.
I need help with lingerie:
I've got you! You will receive a lingerie guide after booking. I am also available for wardrobe consults leading up to your session. Did I also mention - I have a studio wardrobe with pieces from XS-4XL. Oh, and I have shot an entire shoot with just a white sheet. All I need is YOU and we can make the magic happen. Make sure to join the Franz with Benefits FB group where we share weekly lingerie inspiration.
Will hair and makeup be provided?
Yes! I have a professional hair and makeup artist come to the studio on the day we shoot. You arrive and get pampered for the first hour you are there. This is perfect for calming the nerves and feeling a little more confident before we begin shooting. It is part of the process and experience. I work specifically with artists who are trained to ensure your makeup looks great on camera!
What if I get my period?
This happens a lot and it is no big deal! I do not offer reschedules for this. As long as you are comfortable wearing a tampon, cup, or disk, we are good to go. Don’t worry - I will tell you to tuck in your string if need be ;)
When should I book?
I recommend booking your session at least 5 weeks before you would like your products to be delivered. You can book a session up to 18 months in advance. Booking earlier means you can take advantage of the Boudie Bank (pre-payment program) to gain free bonuses as you make payments towards your product collections!
What products do you offer?
Ooooo the goodies are one of my FAVORITE parts! Overwhelmingly, our Luxury Albums are the most purchased product. Additionally, you can purchase wall art, portfolio boxes, and press cards. When you come in for your session you can see samples of everything available.

The goal of this whole party is to help you love yourself a little more. Because of that, editing is typically limited to temporary issues like bruises, scrapes, or blemishes. If you are especially worried about a specific thing such as stretch marks or cellulite, we can work to accomplish beautiful, flattering images through posing and lighting.
will you photoshop my images?
Tan lines are very difficult to edit out of photos. Tan lines will be softened on images selected to be printed. I highly encourage doing what you can to avoid having tanlines for your session if you are not comfortable with them being a part of your image.
Do you offer mini sessions: Boudoir is truly as much about the experience as it is the final product. Because of this, mini sessions do not offer the time you deserve if this is your first boudoir sessions. Past clients are invited to participate in themed mini sessions throughout the year, but these sessions are not open to the public. Just another bonus of going for the full experience!
what about tan lines?
Absolutely. I love offering digitals in my collections and you will have printing rights to those images as well! That means if you want to print some extra cards in the future or send a flirty text, you can totally do it. Digitals are only available as part of a collection.

Last year - I *just* missed the Black Friday sale. (Thank god it was running through to Cyber Monday that year.) I’d had a pretty bad experience with another photographer. I was feeling really bad about myself. Like I was JUST a mom. I’d just realized that I’d NEVER be a size 8 again. I took the plunge and decided to trust Michelle to help me feel better about myself. It wasn’t for my partner. It was for me.
When I walked out of Michelle’s studio, I was on cloud nine. I have literally never felt so proud of WHO I am. She helped me reconnect with who I am - rather than *what* I am. And that feeling has stayed with me for a year. This feeling of not just self-confidence, but pride in who and what I am. She helped me see ME.

I literally burst into tears driving away from Michelle’s studio after my boudoir session (and again after my photo reveal session!) I’d been trying to work up the courage to do a shoot like this for over 10 years. I made a decision last year, that I was doing it…no excuses, and with all body shaming and negative self talk aside….I was booking one! And not just booking, I was booking with Franzetti Boudoir!
I’ve long admired Michelle’s work (and adore her as a person). It all just felt right! She made the shoot so comfortable - like we’d known each other forever. I danced away from our session (literally danced in my car seat the whole way back home).
